The Eleventh Finance Commission of India named Goa the best-placed state because of its infrastructure. Key Sectors identified by ASSOCHAM Goa Council for the upliftment and development of the state are Agro & Food Processing, Fisheries, Logistics, Tourism, Start-ups & MSMEs and IT/ITes to organize focused activities.
