Industrial Relation polices and Reforms

ASSOCHAM National Council for IR & HR Policies and Reforms, as an important arm of the apex chamber, while discharging its functions and aligning to the its vision and mission, deliberates on the issues and concerns which emerge from time to time by way of policy suggestions and recommendations which are broadly covered under its purview. The council works with government, ministries, and regulators at central and state levels as well as with the office of ILO in India and aligns to their respective mandates of industrial policies, labor reforms, and programs towards- growth of productivity, employment, human resources, and competitiveness. The council through its advocacy program- establishes and promotes national and international best practices, assists regulators and authorities in setting up and advancing the standards, sensitizes the government and stakeholders to adopt policies and programs which are the best for the sustainability of Human resources. Also, the council creates knowledge awareness, caters to training and development needs of human resources in the country to educate, enable, excel, and empower them in various formats across the country, and recognizes the extraordinary contribution of professionals.
