Western Region Development Council

Western Region of India is among the fastest emerging business destination and the road of the growth and prosperity of India passes through the region. With distinct advantage of the region and the able leadership of the various state governments and availability of manpower West as a region is being noticed by national and international partners. Most West states are growing in double digits with enormous potential to expand in areas from Agro-Food Processing to Renewable Energy.

Elaborating on the priorities for the year 2021-22 and beyond, ASSOCHAM Western Region Development Council would like to work closely with state governments towards re-vamping and rebooting the economy by covering all the thrust sectors for overall sustainable growth and development of the western states. Main aim of the council is to build a strong foundation for the industries and commerce at western states, to lead in terms of growth and promoting sustainability.

ASSOCHAM Western Region Development Council covers the four Indian States Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa & Maharashtra. The WR Development Council meets 3-4 times in a year to deliberate upon and concretise the views on the important issues brought to its no-tice for submission to the Government. In addition, the Council organises various events and helps Chamber to mobilise resources. The WR Development Council have immensely contributed to the growth of the industry sectors and shaping the policies of the Governments.

Keeping the strong potential of the industries and commerce of Western State Region in view, ASSOCHAM Western Region Development Council aims to draw a roadmap including Promotion of Innovation, Exhibitions, Conferences along with organising panel discussions, round table meeting etc.
