Southern Region Development Council

ASSOCHAM has reconstituted Southern Region Development Council for the year 2021. The scope of the Southern Regional Councils going forward is to enhance focus on knowledge, policy advocacy, sector development and capacity building. ASSOCHAM aims to drive more initiatives to support our members, the industry at large, and the Government to drive the country's socio-economic growth.

ASSOCHAM Southern Region focus will be to give more fillip to Manufacturing, MSME, CSR & Sustainability, Energy & Environment, Women Empowerment, HR, Logistics and Supply Chain, Taxation, Corporate Law & ESDM by engaging with the Southern State Government and interfacing with Southern Industry Leaders from these sectors.

This Council facilitates & guides to conduct programs, projects, publication & other activities focusing on socio-economic development indicators with an objective to serve our members & nonmember partners in the Southern States with following objectives:

Policy advocacy and Meetings with Govt.

Promote industry-government partnership through social and environmental initiatives as per suggested by Government and interest of members

Recognition of efforts of Private Sectors through organize of Conference and Awards

To prepare and publish the knowledge papers/Studies
