International Tax

ASSOCHAM International Tax Council has always worked closely with the Finance Ministry & played a proactive role in the development of India’s tax and trade policies. It works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the growth of industry in India, partnering industry and government alike through advisory and consultative processes & to bridge the gaps that exists between policymaking, policy interpretation, and policy application.

It interacts with key government officials from Ministry of Finance (including Revenue Secretary & CBDT) and disseminates information through publications, conferences, seminars. It created awareness about the various initiatives of the Finance Ministry by organizing programs on regular intervals on the topical issues and the recommendations received during the programs were well acclaimed by the Finance Ministry.
