Under the Aegis of the IT/ITes Council, ASSOCHAM has been organizing platforms where the stakeholders discuss the way forward for the promotion of Technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Robotics to push further growth of the economy and achieve USD 5 Trillion Dollar economy.

Proposed Way Forward:

● To Proactively engage with Government agencies on formulation of policies and implementation guidelines related to emerging technologies such as cloud computing, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain etc.
● To forge partnerships with Key agencies such as Ministry of Electronics and IT, Science and Technology, Commerce and Industry, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Telecom and NITI Aayog to promote entrepreneurship and adoption and application of emerging technologies for inclusive growth.
● To advise on issues related to policy and regulatory issues affecting the IT and ITES industry in India.
● To work with other councils to integrate the efforts related to policy advocacy and thought leadership on cyber-physical systems such as Industry 4.0, logistics, Skilling, smart cities etc.
● To facilitate sharing of knowledge and best practices through thought leadership engagements.
