Chandigarh Development Council

Chandigarh, apart from acting as capital of Haryana and Punjab, the city is also a Union Territory. It is one of the early planned cities in post-independent India and is internationally known for its architecture and urban design. The UT administration, Chandigarh is committed to create a progressive business environment. The city is emerging as a hub to various commercial areas like service industry, education,health,Information technology, food processing etc. To attract investment in the city, government has introduced various sectoral policies. Also, Chandigarh has well-developed social, physical and industrial infrastructure and connectivity. Keeping the potential in view, ASSOCHAM formed a Chandigarh Development Council to closely work with UT administration for the economic and industrial development of Chandigarh.
